Our socks are sized to follow standard shoe sizes, so in most cases you can simply choose the size you usually wear. If you are between two sizes or like a slightly more relaxed fit, going for the larger option will often feel more comfortable.
Most All About Socks styles are designed to fit true to size, so your normal sock or shoe size is usually the right choice. If you prefer a very snug fit you can stay with your exact size, while customers who like a bit more room at the toe often choose the next size up. Whenever a specific model fits differently from normal, we highlight this in the product description so you can adjust your choice with confidence.
Merino wool socks are made for comfort in changing conditions, while cotton socks offer a classic everyday feel. Merino fibres naturally pull moisture away from your skin and help regulate temperature, so your feet feel dry and comfortable throughout the day. They are also naturally antibacterial, which helps reduce odour, and the fibres are very fine so they feel soft and itch free on the skin. Cotton socks feel lighter and familiar, but they do not manage moisture and freshness in the same way as premium Merino wool.
All About Socks offers free standard shipping on every order placed in our online store, with no minimum spend required. This policy applies to orders that are delivered within the United Kingdom and is designed to keep checkout simple and transparent. You do not need a code or special promotion, free shipping is automatically applied to all eligible orders at the time of purchase.
Orders are processed on working days and, when placed before 17:00 GMT, are usually handled the same business day. After your order is confirmed it typically takes one to two business days for our team to prepare the parcel and hand it over to the carrier. From that point, delivery within the United Kingdom generally takes around six to eight business days, so the overall expectation from placing your order to receiving it is about seven to ten business days. During very busy periods or in case of carrier issues it can sometimes take a little longer, but we always aim to deliver as quickly as possible.
As soon as your order has been dispatched you receive a shipping confirmation email that includes your tracking number and a direct link to follow the parcel. You can use this link or visit the “Track Your Order” page on our website to see the latest status of your delivery. Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to update after dispatch, so if you do not see any movement straight away it is worth checking back a little later. If you have not received tracking details within a few days after ordering, our customer service team can help you look it up.
You have 30 calendar days from the day you receive your order to let us know that you would like to return an item. To be accepted, products must be unused, unworn and unwashed, and they need to be sent back in their original condition with all packaging, tags and accessories included. Items that show clear signs of wear, damage or alteration after delivery usually cannot be refunded, and some hygiene sensitive products are excluded from returns unless they are faulty. This policy is designed to keep returns fair and consistent, while your legal rights under UK consumer law remain fully protected.
If you receive an item that is defective, damaged or not what you ordered, All About Socks covers the return shipping costs and provides a prepaid label once your request has been approved. When you return an item for other reasons, for example because you changed your mind or chose the wrong size or colour, you can still send it back within 30 days but the cost of the return shipment is for your own account and any original delivery fees are not refunded. After we receive and inspect the returned items, approved refunds are sent back to the original payment method, and in most cases the money appears within a few working days depending on your bank or payment provider.
You can pay for your order using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Apple Pay or Google Pay, so most major cards and wallets are supported at checkout. All transactions are processed over secure SSL encrypted connections, which means the information you enter is protected while it is sent between your browser and our website. Card details are handled by certified payment processors that comply with PCI DSS standards and are not stored or visible to us, so your payment is completed safely while you keep full control over your own data.
